Born in Frösön, Sweden 19th of March 1948. After 9 years of school at Östbergsskolan, Frösön, Sven studied three years at Wargentinsskolan in Östersund, and then started studies at the KTH (technical university) of Stockholm in year 1966. 1970 Sven started a “summer job” by Eurocontrol (the European Air Traffic Control Organisation) in Brétigny, south of Paris - which turned out to be a permanent job for several years. In 1974 the family moved
to Karlsruhe in southern Germany, where Sven continued his work for Eurocontrol Karlsruhe. Between 1976 and 1980 Sven worked for BAZ (the Austrian
Air Traffic Control Authority) in Vienna, and then returned to Karlsruhe to continue working for Eurocontrol. |
